Raising Ravens is the new musical project by Australian artist, Jess Finlayson and is a hard-hitting rock-based project which is based in Sydney. The band will be performing in Fukuoka on October 26th as part of their first Japan tour. Finlayson started out as the lead guitarist for all female hard-rock renegades, Nitocris, followed by the infamous Fyreflyes, and has been touring nationally and internationally, writing and recording since the age of 15. Raising Ravens recently released their debut EP, ‘In My Room’, which was also the first for Finlayson’s label, Interloper Records. The full length album, Leaving With The Halflight, was released in 2023 and saw the band tour in Australia and Europe.
