Get out your dancing shoes, it’s time to tango! This four-day tango festival is a dream for tango-lovers, since it’s full of workshops, milongas (tango dance parties) and after-milongas! Timed to coincide with cherry blossom season, the Sakura Tango Festival (this year titled “Abrazo de Asia” – ‘Asian Embrace’) has become a highly anticipated event on the spring calendar. Featuring 4 master dancers from Argentina including tango duo Los Totis and 28 guest dancers from Asia, the festival is packed with dance performances, live bands, and lots of time to dance. Never tangoed before? Take a beginners class for free on Mar. 29 at 17:10~18:10, Mar. 30 at 16:00~17:00, Mar. 31 at 11:00~12:00 or Apr. 1 at 13:00~14:00 at Tiempo Hall (instructed by Hector & Gabriela).
