Sakura Tango Festival in Fukuoka

START: Mar 28, 2014 END: Mar 30, 2014

Put on your dancing shoes, it’s time to tango! This three day tango festival (the first of its kind in Fukuoka) is full of workshops, milongas (tango dance parties) and after-milongas! Timed for cherry blossom season, the Sakura Tango Festival is a welcome new event on the spring calendar. Featuring tango legend Roberto Herrera, seven master dancers from Argentina and sixteen guest dancers from Asia, the festival is packed with dance performances, live bands, international DJs and lots of time to dance. Don’t miss the first tango festival in western Japan – all levels welcome, and free beginner classes available to milonga ticket holders.
