This prestigious international rugby tournament for high school students is held in Fukuoka every year during Golden Week. Schools from overseas are invited to represent their country in this competition, and usually each team is among the five top-ranked high school teams in their country. There are both men’s and women’s games, and the George Watson’s College Pipe Band (world champions) will perform once again! There will be free bus service between JR Akama Station, Global Arena, and Munakata City every 30~50 min from 9:15. It will stop at Munakata Taisha and Michinoeki Munakata for historic sites and local food. The George Watson’s College Pipe Band (world champions) will perform once again! There’s also a flea market running on April 29, May 4 and 5 (10:00~16:00).
