An exhibition that conveys the international sauna culture through photographs and displays. Sauna has become a “hot” topic with an increasing number of sauna enthusiasts, giving rise to such terms as “totonou” (a state of physical and mental well-being) and “sakatsu” (the activity of enjoying sauna). The exhibition introduces sauna from various angles, including original drawings by Mr. Katsuki Tanaka, author of the sauna-themed manga “Sado (Sauna Road)” and sauna ambassador, a corner that recreates a sauna room, and a photo spot where visitors can sit in a totonoi chair and experience the immersive process of “totonou” in a space with a panoramic video image. Original goods for use in the sauna, such as sauna hats and towels, will also be on sale.
