Shichifuku Hoshi Festival
A rare chance to experience the purificatory goouhouinkaji ceremony in Kyushu! Participants march around the temple grounds with the Shichifukujin (seven gods of luck, played by costumed volunteers) to the beat of wadaiko (drums). Try to catch the beans, good luck charms and mochi which are thrown to the crowd!
