Shiraito Falls, a designated prefectural scenic spot, is located in the beautiful foothills of Itoshima. The visiting season starts with a Shinto ritual followed by somen nagashi (noodle catching), mochimaki (rice-cake tossing) and fishing. Enjoy viewing 10,000 hydrangeas in bloom from late June to early July, too.
