Taking place in front of JR Hakata Station, Sing! Hakata is one of the largest citizen-participation singing events in Japan. Local groups selected through public applications—some with as many as 80 members—take the stage to perform in one of three categories: gospel, choral, and a cappella. Each group delivers a passionate 20-minute performance. The event also features tie-ins with FM radio programs and a special highlight: a live collaboration with guest artist Mika Nakashima on September 21 at 7:00 PM. Whether you’re singing or simply listening, it’s an uplifting celebration where performers and audience come together to share the joy of music.
