Approximately 20 photographs of Fukutsu’s most beautiful scenic spots will be displayed at Acros Fukuoka this September, including images of Hikari no Michi (Path of Light) at Miyajidake Jinja Shrine the spectacular views of the nearby beaches, which reflect the sky in a mirror-like fashion. Hikari no Michi is the name given to the path leading from Miyajihama Beach to Miyajidake Jinja Shrine when the approach is illuminated by the setting sun. Kagami no Umi (Sea Mirror) refers to the reflection of the sky on the local shores. The mirror effect can be seen during low tide in the 3 kilometer stretch of coast that runs along the beaches at Fukuma, Miyajihama, and Tsuyazaki. Both of these stunning natural phenomena can only be seen when the conditions are right. This exhibit will offer some great tips for any photography enthusiasts!
