Over 140 international and Japanese brands of chocolate go on sale, including French and Belgian chocolate bonbons, local chocolate with dried persimmons and Fukuoka’s Amaou strawberries, to mention a few. The chocolates here go way beyond the basic chocs and bars! At the eat-in corner, enjoy rich chocolate gelato from Italian gelato brand Babbi as well as iced sweets made with cacao pulp and syrup and hot cocoa from Iizuka-based bean-to-bar shop “Cacaoken”. Looking for Japanese-style chocolate? Ikebana-themed chocolate will also be on sale, a nice gift idea for Valentine’s or as souvenirs. The event runs for only two weeks so be sure to buy whatever catches your eye!
