Fukuoka Tower will hold a stair climbing tournament for two days this long weekend. The stairs are usually closed to public use, but they will be open on Oct. 13 (Sun.) and Oct. 14 (Mon., hol.), which is a national holiday called Sports Day. The climb should only take 15 minutes at a leisurely pace, meaning the challenge is open to people of all ages and fitness levels. Climb at your own pace while enjoying the scenery. Participants will receive a badge of proof and free drink afterwards.
