Bayside Place opens it’s annual “Fuku Goya” blowfish hut on June 1. With a casual, beer garden atmosphere, Fuku Goya promotes Hakata’s blowfish industry by offering a menu with special dishes, such as grilled blowfish, fried blowfish and blowfish curry: all for around ¥800. There’s also the “Yamakasa Course” which includes all-you-can-drink, plus 6 menu items and one dessert (door ¥6,000, adv. ¥5,000). Make a reservation before arriving, to avoid disappointment.
