Swedish Films at Movie Hall Cine-la

Swedish cinema is well known for silent films and works of filmmaker Ingmar Bergman, but it has so much more to offer! This February, Movie Hall Cine-la will screen Swedish films with some never before shown in Japan. Enjoy films spanning different genres and decades including “Miss April” (1958), “They Call Us Misfits” (1968), “A Woman’s Face” (1938), “Sunshine Follows Rain” (1946), “A Swedish Love Story” (1971) and more. Japanese subtitles and some English subtitles available. This special screening is held in cooperation with the Swedish Film Institute and in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Sweden-Japan diplomatic relations.
