Step through a grand archway and be greeted by a charming array of wooden huts and a welcoming committee of 100 Santa Clauses! Indulge in specialty dishes like paella from a giant pot, and warm up with hot whiskey or hot wine. In addition, a variety of Christmas goods are available for purchase. Sip on the market’s staple hot wine or hot chocolate from this year’s unique, venue-specific original mugs, which feature a new design annually.
Live music performances on the stage contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of the event. At the Tenjin venue, a special mug exclusive to rainy weekdays is also on offer.
To mark the opening of the Fukuoka Classical Music Festival, held alongside the Christmas Advent event, orchestral fanfares will be performed at 18:50 and 20:00 on Thursday, Nov 20. Special guest: tenor singer Masafumi Akikawa.
