Passing through a huge arch, a wooden Hutte and 100 life-sized Santa figurines welcome you! Fukuoka Christmas Market, a winter tradition in Fukuoka where you can enjoy the atmosphere of Europe, will also be held in the square in front of the city hall in Tenjin. At the venue paella made in a massive pan as well as other foods will be on offer as well as traditional Christmas decorations. The Tenjin venue in 2020 will open from 11/17 where it’s popular to drink mulled wine in festival mugs with fresh designs each year. Also, about 32 trees along the Nakagawa River (Nakagawa-dori) will be illuminated with illuminations.
