Tenjin Chikagai in turning into a runway for a day! As part of Fashion Week Fukuoka and Tenjin Chikagai’s 40th anniversary celebrations, twelve models decked out in spring fashions will strut their stuff through the Chikagai’s subterranean streets. The runway will stretch from the north side event space to street 12, mainly along the east aisle, making the runway over a km long. Since Tenjin Core is also celebrating its 40th anniversary, it too will hold a fashion show on the same day. From Mar. 22 (Tue.) at 12:00 to Mar. 27 (Sun.) at 20:00, several shops in the Chikagai will be arranging special mannequin displays, in which the mannequins hold sakura branches. Enjoy window shopping and sakura viewing at the same time!
