A summer festival that feels both nostalgic and new will be held for a month at the Fureai Hiroba on the west side of City Hall in Tenjin. In the center of the plaza, a yagura stage will be set up, where visitors can enjoy the classic Fukuoka Bon Odori dance, Tanko Bushi, along with pop music. Everyone is welcome to join in and dance freely. The festival will feature popular summer foods like takoyaki, yakitori, and shaved ice, as well as nostalgic festival games like super ball scooping and shooting galleries, providing fun for both adults and children.
