William Burrell (1861-1958), a Glasgow-born, successful-shipping businessman during the industrial revolution in UK, had built a great collection of art and antiques. From the 8,000 items Burrell had donated to his hometown and some from Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in the city, 80 works including Renoir and van Gogh will be on display. Among them, 76 items are shown for the first time in Japan. The exhibition has marked 10,000 visitors and will continue until December 9.
