Thee Cha Cha Chas are a one-woman, one-man garage punk band from Melbourne, Australia. Originally formed as a joke for a backyard battle of the bands in 2015, the joke continues! With guitar, bass, drums, both male and female vocals Thee Cha Cha Chas have a full sound and an energetic stage show. They have been described as the love child of Dead Moon & The Ramones. Lluis Fuzzhound (the male half of Thee Cha Cha Chas) is also a renowned lowbrow illustrator and animator, famous for his “They Done Scruffy Wrong” series of comics. He has also done work for The 5,6,7,8’s, The Routes and many more. October 2019 sees Thee Cha Cha Chas coming to Japan. They will play all around the country, climaxing in performing at the 30th Anniversary of the legendary Back From The Grave Halloween Ball in Tokyo, this year being headlined by budget rock legends The Mummies, and surf legends The Phantom Surfers. In Fukuoka Thee Cha Cha Chas will play with Japanese girl band The Tomboys (from Kobe) as special guests, and Fukuoka bands Samehada Shiriko and Dynamite, Lovebites and The Whys. They will be joined by DJ Traxman (Soundflat Records, Germany). For those in Kitakyushu, you can catch Thee Cha Cha Chas at Kokura Cheerz on Oct. 21 (Mon.).
