From Jan. 23~29, Hankyu Department Store is holding a food fair dedicated to Japan’s Tōhoku region. The “Tōhoku Umaimono Market” is now open on the 8F of Hankyu, featuring such specialties as noodles, seafood, gyoza, wine, juice and sweets. All items for sale come from the 6 prefectures – Aomori, Akita, Iwate, Yamagata, Fukushima and Miyagi – that make up Tōhoku in the northeast of Honshu. Try something new & delicious from Tōhoku!
