Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, known for its seasonal blooms throughout the year, reaches its peak during the mild spring months. From late March, the park bursts into color with 60,000 tulips, 1,600 cherry trees, and 16,000 Iceland poppies. In early April, over a million nemophila flowers create a stunning blue carpet across the landscape. This year introduces new highlights, including lupines—flowers that bloom upside-down like wisteria—and a newly designed perennial garden featuring hardy, long-lasting plants. With its vast, colorful scenery, the park offers an ideal setting for a spring picnic.
