The long-selling Koguma-chan picture book series has been widely adored since the first title in 1970. Writer Ken Wakayama has always aimed to create stories that small children can understand even if they are too young to read. This exhibition aims to provide one of the first full retrospectives of Wakayama’s work. Approximately 230 items such as original illustrations from picture books and lithographs printed during the creative process will be featured, providing visitors with a unique insight into the writer’s world.
