This is a spot sale event gathering more than 70 distilleries from all over Japan, from Niigata in the north to Okinawa in the south, in Fukuoka. They bring their authentic shochu and Awamori. Each distillery offers free tasting of their prideful liquors. The purchased liquors can, of course, be taken home or enjoyed on the spot in your preferred style such as on the rocks, diluted with water, hot water, or soda. Food trucks will be present, providing snacks that pair well with shochu, allowing you to savor shochu and Awamori to your heart’s content along with gourmet treats. In addition to the drinks, the event features talk shows to deepen your knowledge of shochu and sake tasting experiences. There will also be a simultaneous pottery fair collecting ceramics from the kilns of Hasami, Arita, and Koishiwara.
