This 420-year-old event is a tug of war between teams of Yobuko citizens using a 200 m long rope. A land team win means a good harvest, while a beach team win means a good catch. Everyone is welcome to join in (it’s best out of three)! The main event is on Jun. 2, and the children’s version is on Jun. 1.
