The Dazaifu Brand Creation Council (Dazaifu Brand Sozo Kyogikai) will hold its sixth annual “Yukata de Dazaifu” event, promoting Dazaifu as a traditional Japanese city and the perfect place to wear your yukata! Everyone is encouraged to visit Dazaifu wearing a yukata during the month-long festival. Many stores in Dazaifu are offering discounts during the event period, and to top it all off, there’s a yukata contest on 7/24 (Sun.) and 7/25 (Mon.) at the summer festival!
