Grow’s is a dining bar that specializes in smoked and spiced meats. A counter runs most of the length of the long, narrow interior, but groups can sit on the comfy sofas in the back. Depending on the ingredient, the owner mixes and matches five different kinds of wood chips to get just the right smoked flavor. We recommend the seven-variety smoked food platter, which includes meat, fish, cheese and eggs. The platter pairs well with a single malt whiskey selected by the owner, who is also a mixologist. You can also enjoy a wide range of charcoal-grilled meat, running the gamut from Kuroge Wagyu beef, pork and chicken to horse, duck and mutton, and if you’re out way late, it’s no problem. The shop stays open until 7:00 in the morning!
