Certified by the True Neapolitan Pizza Association (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana), Il Sol Levante is a unique pizza shop located in an old house not far from the Kego Crossing. Naturally, the signature dish here is the authentic pizzas baked in an oven made from bricks shipped from Italy. The owner, who trained in Italy, combines Italian mozzarella with seasonal ingredients from Kyushu to create his margherita and other pizzas, which are popular even with Italians living in Fukuoka. Il Sol Levante holds live shows once a month with accordion and other performers, so stop by to enjoy some music with a relaxing meal and one of the many natural wines on the menu.
