Katsue is a reservation-only restaurant that serves mizutaki (chicken hot pot), a local specialty—perfect for entertaining out-of-town guests. The rich soup is made from herb-fed Kyushu chicken, ginseng and cloud ear mushrooms and comes with boneless thigh meat, cartilage, chicken meatballs, and veggies. After trying the soup, add some homemade seasonings—yuzu pepper paste, spicy miso with garlic or freshly grated ginger—if you wish. Course prices vary depending on content. If you want to try the popular squid and sea urchin sushi, choose the ¥6,300 or ¥7,700 course.
Menu: Course ¥6,300 (appetizer, sashimi, sushi (2 pcs.), mizutaki (meatball (2pcs.), chicken thigh (3 pcs.)), udon, dessert), ¥4,000 (appetizer, mizutaki, udon, dessert), ¥7,700 (appetizer, sashimi, grilled fish, sushi (2 pcs.), mizutaki, udon, dessert), draft beer ¥770, soft drinks ¥440, sake (180 ml) ¥880~
