In Oct. 2019, former salaryman Takeharu Sugawara opened a unique new yatai serving coffee and distilled spirits. The menu features hand drip coffee—an original blend created with a long-standing local roaster—and a short but sweet selection of gin, whiskey, and shochu. You can even choose to mix the two by ordering a coffee shochu or coffee whiskey! The stylish stall, designed by a local architect, is unlike any other and sure to attract a younger crowd or anyone who wants to experience the coziness of yatai without fragrant ramen. Stop by after work or after a meal, it’s unlike any yatai you’ve ever been to.
Menu (tax incl., no charge): Coffee shochu ¥600, coffee whiskey ¥800, sweet potato shochu ¥600~, gin of the day ¥1,000, coffee ¥500, ginger tea ¥600
*Foreign language menu: English/Credit cards: Accepted (Pending)/Reservations: Not possible/No smoking
