Sabo Warabino

About 30 minutes’ drive east from Tenjin and nestled halfway up Mt. Wakasugi in Sasaguri sits Warabino, a relaxing getaway from the city. Inside the chic building, you can enjoy hand-roasted coffee made with mountain spring water along with a variety of unique menu items—none of which use processed sugar or butter. Try the trademark chilled baked apple topped with honey and vanilla ice cream, or the dried persimmons topped with cream cheese and grapes. The Wagyu fillet steak course is also a popular item (served between 11:30~19:00, ¥3,500).

Menu: Chilled baked apple w/ honey and vanilla ice cream ¥1,000, dried persimmons topped with cream cheese and grapes ¥500, dried persimmon, edamame and cheese sandwich topped with tofu, white sesame and white miso ¥800, flavored tea (blueberry or cassis) ¥700, original blend coffee ¥600, matcha with sweets ¥800

*Cash only / No smoking inside / Reservations accepted
