Tokio offers myriad menu items made with fresh fruit. Of course, people come for the fruit platters and juices, but the lunch sets are also a big draw. The most popular are the avocado sandwich lunch and the princess lunch (boiled egg and toast; ¥500; limit 20 per day). Tokio runs “fairs” year-round to showcase the freshest seasonal fruits. Go now to catch the Peach Fair (until early Sept.) and try the peach parfait (with a whole peach!) (¥980) or the peach pancakes with raspberry sauce (¥1,080). You can also get fresh juices and sandwiches to go.
