Max

Max

Already famous as the ever-hyper, always goofy host of “Maximum Times” on Love FM (9:00 ~ 11:00 weekdays), Max, as in “Ohaiyougozai-MAX!” has a new gig! Max is now the Yahoo! Japan Dome’s MC for all Softbank Hawks home games. After announcing the starting line-ups and MC-ing pre-game events, Max pops up all around the dome interviewing fans, playing with mascots, and dancing with cheerleaders. Despite the fact that he can’t swing a bat or catch a ball, Max is fast becoming a star at the Dome. He really enjoys his role as a link bringing the fans and the field closer together. Surprisingly, Max said it wasn’t so long ago that he feared speaking in public, but his experience of being on air for the past two and a half years changed all that. His advice to others thinking of trying something new? “Move out of your comfort zone, trust yourself and trust others to help you.”
