A free car-rental system utilizing smart phones begins its trial period on Dec. 6 in the Momochi area. Venture company REEVO have created an original application that allows users to book micro-electric cars for rental via smartphone. Users must download the app and register to be a member, after which they can book a car through the app. The app also allows you to turn the power of the rental car on and off . The cars are one seat micro-electric cars that have a range of 60km when fully charged, and will be available for rental between 8:00 ~ 19:00. The app will be released for iPhones on Dec. 5, and for Android in the middle of Dec. The trial period runs until March 2013, and is completely free for users within this period.
