15 Hawks and Ham Baseball Team Members Infected with COVID

On Jan. 17, fifteen Softbank Hawks baseball team members were confirmed to have been infected with the new coronavirus. Yanagita, Masago, Tanigawara, and three more players from Nippon Ham tested positive early in the afternoon. Those members trained together in a facility in Saga. Seven more players and staff members were confirmed infected in the evening of the same day. Those patients are being treated at designated accommodation facilities or their homes. Source: KBC
