The Nishinippon Shimbun conducted a survey of Kyushu companies with a presence in China, and received responses from 42 of them. Twenty percent said they would consider withdrawing or downsizing their Chinese presence if bilateral relations continue to grow worse. Added to those companies who didn’t know how they would respond, a total of 40% felt some uneasiness about their operations in that country. Source: Nishinippon Shimbun
