85 People Move To Kitakyushu City – A New Record

A record-high number of people moved to Kitakyushu City in the past ten months. The city revealed that the number of people who moved to the city in the fiscal year of 2020 reached 85 as of January 2021, already surpassing the 2019 total of 55. Twenty-nine of the new population came from the Kanto area, and more than a half belong to the age group of 20 ~ 39 years old. Kitakyushu City intends to promote more inbound relocations by providing  online consultations and more.  Source: KBC / NHK
