The Saga Prefecture Labor Bureau reported that 90.7% of the job-seekers from this year’s high school graduating class have found jobs, the highest local rate in 10 years. This figure is also higher than the national average of 89.4%. The reasons cited for the improvement are a brighter economic picture and the need to hire replacements for the retiring baby boomer generation.
