Aeon Cycle Shop, Aeon Kyushu’s unit for bicycle sales, announced it has changed its name to Aeon Bike and plans to open 200 shops in Kyushu by 2016 as part of the overall group expansion. The company sees increased demand for bicycles stemming from a growing interest in exercise and the interest in alternative means of transportation after the Tohoku earthquake. They have 93 shops in the region at present.
