With the opening of the ANA Intercontinental Beppu Resort & Spa scheduled for August 1, the hotel was shown to media on July 19. With a concept of “fusion of traditional hot spring culture in Oita Prefecture with an international resort hotel,” delicately designed bamboo crafts and other local craftwork adorn the interior of the whole hotel building. A total of 89 guest rooms including ten suite rooms go for between ¥50,000 to ¥950,000 (varying by season.) The spa and the pool can be used both by hotel guests and day-time visitors.
