ANA Utilizes Kitakyushu Airport for Timely Arrivals

Due to operational time limits at Fukuoka Airport, All Nippon Airways (ANA) has updated its strategy to use Kitakyushu Airport as an alternative landing site for flights from Haneda that risk being delayed. Fukuoka Airport’s strict operating hours, set from 7 AM to 10 PM for noise control, have previously caused flights to return to their point of departure. This operational shift aims to prevent such occurrences by offering a 24/7 landing option at Kitakyushu Airport. Although ANA does not regularly operate in Kitakyushu, it is preparing to handle flights and passengers there as needed. Similarly, Japan Airlines has adopted this approach since last April, with improvements made in December to better manage flights potentially missing their Fukuoka schedule. Source: NHK
