The Asian Veterinary Medical Association (FAVA) has opened its “One Health Fukuoka Office” on the 13th floor of ACROS Fukuoka. The office was established as a response to the growing need for dealing with zoonotic diseases like COVID-19 and drug resistance, among other issues. The Fukuoka office is the first branch outside its main office in Bangkok, making it the first international institution to be established in the city since the United Nations Habitat office. The office will serve as the FAVA Japan office going forward. Source: FIBA
