According to the announcement by Tokyo Shoko Research, 30 companies adopted “Reiwa (令和)” in their company names during the first ten days of April, including five in Fukuoka Prefecture. Tokyo Shoko Research explains that there had been no company that included “Reiwa” in their names until the new era name was announced on Apr. 1. Within ten days from the announcement, eighteen have changed their names while twelve have newly opened with a name that includes “Reiwa.” Amongst those 30 companies, Fukuoka Prefecture had the most significant part with 5 companies now have “Reiwa” in their names.
