Automated Bus Trial To Be Run at Fukuoka Airport

Nishitetsu will run a trial for self-driving buses at Fukuoka Airport. For one month from Mar. 8, a bus built by Isuzu and carrying 79 passengers will run along a 1.4-kilometer route connecting the airport’s domestic and international terminals. During this trial, the bus will run without passengers. It will be monitored for technical issues in a real driving environment to provide a safe and comfortable ride. Source: Yomiuri / Nikkei
