Four red kangaroo joeys have been born this year at “Animal Forest” in Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, Fukuoka’s Higashi Ward. The zoo counts a joey’s birthday as the first day it peeks out from its mother’s pouch—one was confirmed in August and three more in October. Visitors can now enjoy seeing the young kangaroos hopping or peeking from their mothers’ pouches, a sight expected to continue through the end of the year.
