Barbecue Chain Found With More Incorrect Menu Descriptions

It has been discovered that a chain of barbecue restaurants named “Nurubon” had incorrect menu descriptions of ingredients, such as labeling foreign-sourced horse meat as being sourced from Kumamoto and labeling rice from Oita as being sourced from Saga. The chain had apologized for the previous mistake of labeling horse meat last week. The new discovery was made in five locations in Fukuoka. The company has stated that the cause of the incorrect menu descriptions was due to a lack of coordination between headquarters and stores, causing updates to the menu to not be reflected. The company plans to improve employee knowledge and check systems to regain customer trust. Source: Nurubon / KBC
