The Beppu Suginoi Hotel is planning a large-scale renovation including the construction of a new building between 2020 to 2025. The hotel is very popular with tourists visiting, and the hotel business in Beppu is becoming increasingly competitive. Suginoi Hotel aims to prepare for expansion into the luxury market with an annex building. The project with a budget of ¥40 billion will start around the end of fiscal year 2019.
