The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that body touch inspections will begin at 29 airports in Japan including Fukuoka. The inspections will begin in October. Currently passengers are only checked with metal detectors, however from Oct. random body touch inspections will be made. Inspectors will wear gloves and inspectors will only check passengers of the same sex. The change is being made to increase safety and limit chances for terrorist attacks.
