Canal City Theater signed a ten-year contract with Sunrise Promotion Tokyo for exclusive rights to use the 1,144 seat hall. In July 2022, the Tokyo-based entertainment company will bring various performances on stage; traditional performances of noh and kabuki, musicals, plays, music concerts, and more.
