Canon subsidiary Canon Nagasaki held a press conference at the Nagasaki Prefectural offices to announce they have postponed plans to start construction on a digital camera plant in Hasami-cho. Construction was slated to begin in January, and the plant was to open in December. The delay was attributed to plunging digital camera demand worldwide.
