Canycom Factory to Begin Operation in China This Spring

Canycom, an Ukiha, Fukuoka Prefecture manufacturer of agricultural equipment, plans to begin operation of a new plant in China’s Jiangsu Province this spring. The plant will chiefly produce riding mowers and smaller transport vehicles. The company hopes to sell 25,000 units by FY 2013 for roughly five billion yen in revenue. They intend to use the production in China for export throughout the world while maintaining their Japanese plant, which produces just under 10,000 units annually.
